You must register and activate the Game Gate machine in order for it to function correctly and operate legally. You can renew multiple machines at once during the process by repeating step 5. To navigate the USB interface menu press the "One Player Game" button to scroll, and the "Reset" button to select an option.

Step 1:
Once you have placed your order for a Game Gate unit, you will need to fill out iGames membership and licensing documents which we will provide to you. Fax/mail to iGames per instructions on the documents.

Step 2:
You will receive an E-mail confirmation with a user name and password for your account. This will allow you to access the Game Gate registration server.

Step 3:
When you receive the Game Gate and set up the unit, after powering on the unit for the first time follow the prompts which will save a file named "control.gamegate" to the included USB stick.

Step 4:
Log in to the Game Gate registration server with your user name and password (see Step 2). Upload the file "control.gamegate" (see Step 3) into the registration server. The registration server will modify the file. Save the newly modified file onto the USB stick, overwriting the previous version of the file.

Step 5:
Take the USB drive with the newly modified file and insert into the USB port on the Game Gate machine(s) you want to activate. Using the USB interface menu, select the "Licensing" option, and then "Read License from USB". The machine will read the file on the USB stick and the machine will activate with 6 months of licensing.
