Q1.
There are many different version Xbox 360 machines. Which one is suitable for use with the Game Gate?

Game Gate is compatible with all Xbox 360 versions currently on the market. Xbox 360 versions (Arcade, Pro, Elite) differ only in the accessories included such as included Hard Drive and bundled software. We recommend the basic "Arcade" pack, as it is the least expensive, and there is no real need for a Hard Drive for use with the Game Gate (as found in the Pro and Elite models).

Q2.
How do I change games?

Once you have bought a game (from a retail store, online etc), it is simple to change games. Using the "Game Window" keys you can unlock one side of the sliding door in front of the console. Slide the door to the right (Xbox 360).

Q3.
What is the purpose of the Xbox 360 memory card slot?

The memory card slot allows players to use their personal Xbox 360 memory unit with the machine. This allows players to access their save game data and other information, as well as allowing the player to connect to the Xbox Live service.

Q4.
Do I need to change any system settings for the Xbox360 when first installing it into the Game Gate?

Yes, for optimum performance it is recommended that optimize certain settings to get the best use out of the console within the Game Gate cabinet. The main setting you will need to change is the display output resolution of the Xbox 360. See here for more information.

Q5.
Is there any way for players to access/change the consoles system settings?

No. The Game Gate system disables the use of certain functions and restricts player access to system settings.
