Q1.
How do I control the Game Gate master volume?

There is a module which controls the master volume. It can be found on the right side of the cabinet near where the game console is placed. Use the Volume knob to control the master volume, and the Bass knob to control the level of lower frequencies output by the subwoofer. For more information see here.

Q2.
How do I connect an external monitor?

On the Rear Connection Panel of the Game Gate machine there are component video output jacks and L/R audio jacks. Connect your secondary display to this panel using a component video cable for the best possible video quality. For more information see here

Q3.
How I network Game Gate machines/connect to a LAN?

You can do this by using standard Ethernet cables and a switchbox/router if needed. You must plug the Ethernet cable into the Network Jack found on the rear connection panel of the Game Gate machine. You must also ensure that there is an Ethernet cable connected from the Xbox 360 console to the Game Gate motherboard. For more information on how to connect machines see here

Q4.
Does my machine have any added security?

Game Gate™ VU includes 5 different keys, for 5 different locks on the cabinet.

Back door keys – use for the back two doors, required for cabinet assembly and installation of video game system.

Control panel key – use for the control panel to change the retail game case and instruction graphics. For higher security on the control panel key, reach from the back of the cabinet inside to under the control panel and push the latch to the left. This will prevent the control panel from opening even if the lock is picked.

Game window keys – keyed different from the control panel key, the game window keys only allow access to change the game disk by sliding the door the right. For higher security, insert the machine screws into the locks, which will prevent the window from sliding even if unlocked. We recommend to keep at least one machine screw in the left when using Xbox 360.

Coin door keys – there are two sets of two keys for the top and the bottom coin door.

Q5.
Is Xbox LIVE use possible?

YES, it is possible, but only if the location has internet and players use their personal Xbox Live profile. Microsoft does not currently allow multiple users to share a profile, so players must bring their own profile via their memory unit, which they insert into the front of the Game Gate memory socket to play on Xbox Live. Xbox Live is not required for system link/LAN play.
